Terms of Service

01The agreement

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and Dopamine Club (“Dopamine Club”, “we”, “us”), operator of the Dopamine Club marketplace at dopamineclub.pk and its related apps and services (the “Platform”).

By creating an account, posting a listing, or otherwise using the Platform, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the Platform.

If you use the Platform on behalf of a business (for example by running a dealer store), you confirm you are authorised to bind that business, and “you” means both you and that business.

02The scope of our role

Dopamine Club is a venue. We host listings for computer hardware, full rigs and peripherals, and we help buyers and sellers find each other. Buyers and sellers then deal directly with one another.

Because of that, you are responsible for your own due diligence. We recommend that you:

• meet in a public place, or at a dealer’s registered branch;
• inspect and bench the item before paying;
• check serial numbers, warranty status and original receipts;
• never send an advance payment to someone you have not verified yourself.

03Accounts and eligibility

To hold an account you need to be able to enter into a binding agreement. Under Pakistani law that means you are 18 or over, or, if you are younger, that a parent or guardian agrees to these Terms on your behalf and supervises your use of the Platform. They are responsible for what happens on the account.

Accounts are personal: keep one account, give accurate registration details, and keep them current.

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your password secret. You may sign in with Google, in which case Google authenticates you and shares a limited profile with us. See the Privacy Policy.

We may require you to verify your email address before some features become available, and we may refuse, suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms.

04Listing rules

When you post an ad you confirm that:

• you own the item, or are authorised to sell it, and it is not stolen;
• the title, category, condition, specifications, brand, model and price are accurate and not misleading;
• the photos are of the actual item you are selling, with no stock renders passed off as the unit in hand;
• you have the rights to every image and every word you upload;
• the contact number, WhatsApp number or email on the listing is yours and is safe to show publicly;
• the sale is legal in Pakistan and in your city.

One item per listing. Do not repost the same item to game the feed, and do not use bumping, featuring or category selection to place an item where it does not belong.

Prohibited items

Counterfeit or cloned hardware; items with removed, altered or mismatched serial numbers; stolen or mined-under-warranty goods presented as new; software or licence keys you are not permitted to transfer; anything whose sale is restricted or unlawful in Pakistan; and anything unrelated to computer hardware and adjacent gear.

05Acceptable use

Do not:

• harass, threaten, defraud or impersonate anyone, or post hateful, obscene or unlawful content;
• collect other users’ contact details for spam, bulk marketing or resale, whether by hand or by scraping;
• use bots, crawlers or automated tooling against the Platform, or attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication or moderation;
• probe, load-test or interfere with our infrastructure, or upload malware in any file or image;
• create fake accounts, fake reviews, or fake reports, or coordinate with others to inflate or sink a rating;
• misrepresent your verification status, or copy the Dopamine Verified mark onto listings or images.

06Dealer stores and verification

A dealer store is a business storefront on the Platform. To open one you must give a real store name, a working contact number, and (if you claim a physical branch) a real address. Store details are public.

You may apply for verification by submitting business documents for review. Verification is discretionary, and we may approve, reject, or later withdraw it. Documents you submit are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

07Reviews, ratings and reports

Reviews must describe a real interaction and reflect your honest experience. Do not trade, buy or solicit reviews, and do not review yourself or a business you control.

Ratings and deal counts shown on profiles and stores are computed from Platform activity. They are indicators, not warranties.

You can report a listing, a user or a store to our moderators. Report in good faith: repeated bad-faith reports are themselves a breach of these Terms.

08Your content

You keep ownership of the text, photos and other material you upload (“your content”). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, resize, cache and display your content for the purpose of operating, securing and promoting the Platform, including in search results and, where a listing is featured, in our own marketing of the marketplace.

That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained in backups, in moderation and dispute records, or where the law requires us to keep them.

If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright or trade mark, write to us at support@dopamineclub.pk with the listing URL, proof of your rights and your contact details, and we will review it.

09Moderation, suspension and removal

We may remove or hide a listing, a review, a store or an account, with or without prior notice, if we reasonably believe it breaks these Terms or the law, misleads buyers, or puts other users at risk. Where a listing is removed, we record a reason and you can see it on your ad.

If your account is suspended, your listings and store stop appearing publicly. If you think a decision was wrong, reply to us at support@dopamineclub.pk and we will take a second look.

10Fees

Posting ads, opening a store and browsing are currently free. Paid services, such as verification and concierge selling, are announced as they launch, with their price shown before you commit to them.

If we ever start charging for something that is free today, we will tell you before the charge applies, and you can stop using that feature instead.

11Deactivation, deletion and termination

You can deactivate your account at any time from your settings. Your profile, store and listings drop out of public view and nothing is destroyed. Signing back in restores them.

You can also delete your account. Deletion is permanent: your profile is anonymised and your listings are withdrawn. It cannot be undone, and it does not erase records we are required to keep, or a copy of a completed conversation held by the other party.

We may terminate or suspend your access for a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do survive it: the content licence, the disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law.

12Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that listings are accurate, that sellers or buyers are who they say they are, that any item is genuine, functional or fit for your purpose, or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. Benchmarks, specifications and price signals shown on the Platform are indicative only.

13Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dopamine Club and its directors, employees and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of your use of the Platform or any dealing with another user.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) PKR 10,000.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

14Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Dopamine Club harmless from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third party and arising from your content, your listings, your dealings with other users, or your breach of these Terms or of any law.

15Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Platform changes. When we do, we update the effective date at the top of this page, and for material changes we give notice in the product or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Platform after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

16Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts at Lahore, Punjab have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Before starting proceedings, please write to us at support@dopamineclub.pk. Most disputes are settled faster that way.
